Keeping our promise of planting trees every monsoon season. Today on 01/08/2022, a tree plantation drive was organised by Pratigya NGO with 50 students of Pratigya SMART Center and volunteers.

 

After an awareness walk of around 3 km, about 80 saplings were planted near the Bhalswa Jheel.

 

The purpose of the plantation is to save Mother Nature and hand over this natural gift to our forthcoming generation.

To decrease the global warming effects, tree plantation is the need of the hour. We must immediately stop Deforestation and start Afforestation.

 

Each of us must plant at least one tree every year.

 

We understand in this competitive world, everyone is busy and has no time for such activities. So, this year we have launched a campaign, “Donate ₹50 for a Tree”. For every ₹50 donation, we will plant a tree on behalf of the donor and will provide a unique identification number to track the growth of their plant.

• Solar Power
  We have Installed a 1kw rooftop solar system. It can generate about 3-6 units of energy per day.

• Fire Resistant
  For the prevention of any fire break out, We have equipped our SMART center with 10 fire extinguishers cylinder and 7 fireball fire extinguishers at fire risk areas.

• Water Conservation
  Water is a precious & essential resource and it must not be wasted. An average water purifier rejects around 75% of water. It is a good practice to re-use the rejected water rather than drain it. We have installed a 200L loft tank to store and reuse the rejected water in the washroom flush. To maintain groundwater level we have also dug up a groundwater recharge pit.

On Oct 26, 2019, All the Pratigya Staff celebrated Annual Day and Diwali with full of enthusiasm and zeal. It was a pleasant day full of joy-filled performance and activities. The entire staff participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this event. The event started with Diwali Poojan followed by staff performances, some fun activities and group dance.

The chief guests Mr. Umesh Dutt (Sports Officer, School of planning and Architecture, Delhi), Mr. Yogesh Ramola (Sr. Advocate, Delhi High Court) and Dr. Ajay Saini (Director, Pratigya NGO) distributed prizes to the winners of the respective titles.
